Project Overview
TOP Gtv is a video sharing platform where creators upload videos and publish articles, and viewers browse by category.
I built the platform with a sidebar layout, a featured hero, category chips, top videos, articles, a watch page with comments and a create flow for uploads.
Problem
The team needed their own platform for news, music and entertainment content instead of depending fully on big video sites.
Solution
I designed a familiar dark layout so viewers feel at home: sidebar for trending, top videos, movies and channels, category filters, a watch page with up next, likes, share, download and comments, and a channel subscribe button.
Outcomes
- Familiar layout viewers understand straight away
- Videos and articles in one platform
- Comments, likes and subscriptions built in
- Categories make browsing simple
