Find the perfect recipe in seconds

Project Overview

A recipe search app built as an IB Computer Science project. Users search thousands of recipes, filter by diet, save favourites and manage their profile.

I designed and built the search, results, login and sign up, profile and favourites screens in a bright yellow style.

Problem

Most recipe sites are full of ads and long stories. The goal was a quick way to find a recipe that fits your diet.

Solution

I made a single search bar with quick filters like gluten free, vegan, dairy free and nut free, a clean results grid, a login and sign up modal, and a profile page where saved recipes can be removed or edited.

Outcomes

• Search with diet filters in one bar
• Clean results grid with no clutter
• Accounts with saved favourites
• Simple profile editing
